100 Tiny Monsters
In 2020 I started a project to paint tiny portraits of 100 monsters using traditional gouache. I have a friend who has a collection of tiny monster portraits, and I painted one for him. And then I painted a few more. And then I was having so much fun, I decided, heck, why not paint 100? Well, it turns out 100 is actually a lot of monsters!!!
I’ve learned a lot along the way, about myself and about painting. I’m hoping to finish them by the end of April 2025, which would make 5 years since I started the project. Wish me luck!
